A quick roadside waterfall in the Interior, reached by about 70 steps, ideal for an easy stop and a fast swim.

Intro

Jacko Falls is one of the easiest waterfalls to access in Dominica’s Interior. It’s right off the main road and reached by about 70 steps. Perfect for a quick stop, a photo, and a fast cool-down.

What you’ll do

  • Park on the roadside near the entrance.
  • Walk down the steps to reach the waterfall and pool area.
  • Enjoy the falls up close and take photos.
  • Swim if conditions look safe.
  • Head back up the same steps.

Key tips

  • Park with extra care: cars drive fast on this stretch of road.
  • Wear shoes with grip. Steps and rocks can be slippery when wet.
  • Avoid right after heavy rain if the area feels slick or the flow looks strong.
  • Bring small cash for the entry fee (EC$12 / US$5).

Best time

Year-round; avoid right after heavy rain if the steps or rocks are very slippery.
