Dernier Falls is a beautiful little waterfall close to the village of Grand Fond. It’s a quieter, less visited spot, great if you want something more local and low-key. We highly recommend taking time to meet and support the Grand Fond community while you’re there.

- Walk a short but steep forest path down toward the falls.

- The trail is short but steep. It can get slippery after rain.
- Wear shoes with grip (mud + roots).
- Go slow on the way back up.
- If conditions look wet or unsafe, skip it and come back another day.
