How booking works

On Remote you do not book blind. You send one request, local operators come back to you with proposals, and you choose who you go with. Here is the whole path.

How it works

You send a single request with your dates, your group size, the activities you are interested in and your budget. It goes to the local operators who fit, not to a random inbox. They review it and send you a proposal with the details and the price. You compare, you ask questions, and you pick the one that suits you.

Once you both confirm, contact details are shared both ways and the conversation continues directly, usually on WhatsApp. Nothing stays locked behind the platform. From there you deal with your operator directly, as you would with someone a friend recommended.

Steps

  • Send your request. Sending it is free, you just create a free account so you can follow your proposals.
  • Receive proposals, usually within a day.
  • Compare them, ask anything, and choose.
  • Confirm, and get connected directly with your operator.

Good to know

Some operators ask for a small deposit to secure the booking, paid safely by card. Others simply take payment directly on the day, in cash or by transfer. Either way the choice is clear before you commit, and what you spend stays with the local people who run your trip.
