En ligneDominica small. We all know each other here. The guide knows the driver, the driver knows the guesthouse, the guesthouse knows both of them. That is a network already, and most places don't have it. It is the real strength of our industry.
But we all pulling in different directions. Each of us trying to be seen above the next one, on our own site, on our own social page. Good people who been running tours for years are still hard to find online. Meanwhile the platforms that do the work of putting everything in one place take 20 to 35% and keep the client. We work next to each other, but rarely with each other.
Remote takes the network you already built and puts it in front of more travellers.
The purpose is to bring the traffic back on island. Right now foreign platforms decide a lot about how our industry runs, what gets sold, at what price, and who gets seen. That decision belongs here, with the people doing the work. Remote is a tool for the people who make tourism happen in Dominica, built on the island, and built in the open with the industry. That is why we are coming to you directly.
So this is an invitation to come in, and to build it with us. A young operator who had just got his licence needed a way to put drivers on his tours and knew none of them. He asked, we built a feature to facilitate collaboration between an existing tour and drivers. If something would make your work easier, tell us and we do our best.

The idea underneath all of it is simple. Whoever brings the traveler in gets rewarded for it. What that looks like depends on the work you do.
If you run tours, experiences or transport
You only ever have a commission on a booking someone brought you. Your own client stays yours, at 0%. Use Remote as the booking system for the clients you find yourself and it costs you nothing at all. A traveler Remote finds you, 12%. A traveler a partner brings you, 15%. Nothing monthly, nothing upfront.
15 is the ceiling, and it holds whoever sends you the traveler. However the booking reaches you, and whoever we end up working with, nothing moves your rate above 15. No access fee, nothing extra out of your pocket. We here to connect the network. That ceiling is how we protect it too.
When a traveler reaches you through Remote, they come organized. They have seen what is possible here, put a trip together, and sent you the dates, the group size and what they after, so you can answer properly from the first message. Once you both agree, the client lands in your WhatsApp with the trip already set. You keep the client, and you keep the relationship.

If you host people or rent cars
Your guests already need information, guides and experiences, and they going to look for it somewhere. Send them to Remote and they find the spots, what each one takes, and the people who run them. Every time you do that you putting a fellow operator in front of a traveler, and you get rewarded for it. You get a page to hand them at check in, or when they pick up the keys. Your own welcome message, your photos, the spots closest to you, and the guides and drivers you already trust, listed by name. It is tied to your account, so anything they book on Remote after that earns you 5%. Nothing monthly, nothing upfront.
That last part matters more than it looks. The guide you been sending guests to for years finally gets something back from you sending them, and so do you. That is the network doing its work. You can put your property or your fleet on the platform too, pointing at your own booking link. That one is free for now. We in stage one, and we still working out a fair way to show your business to the traffic we have. We also want to go further and let that page carry your own name and look, so what you hand your guest feels like part of your house.

We will be straight with you. Remote is young. We went live in June, traveler traffic is still early, and there is a lot left to build. That is the point of an invitation. The people who come in early are the ones who shape what it becomes.
The marketplace is the first piece. Under it we are writing down the record of the island, every operator, every spot, every trail, verified here by the people who know it. That is what makes the rest possible. Tomorrow the whole island bookable, wherever the traveler starts looking, and every booking going straight to the person doing the work.
Every operator gives and gets. When one of us grows, all of us grow.
